Meet Dr. Ryan Von Holten

Meet the experienced and friendly doctor who makes Von Holten Eyecare the leading provider of vision care products and services in Channahon.

Dr. Ryan Von Holten is Channahon’s first optometrist.

He attended the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and graduated in 1999. He then attended the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago and graduated in 2003. His training includes rotations in pediatrics, advanced ocular disease (at several Veteran’s Hospitals), and contact lenses.

At Von Holten Eyecare, his main emphasis is on comprehensive optometric care, glasses, pediatrics, and the treatment and management of all ocular diseases including glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration. Dr. Von Holten especially enjoys the pediatric aspect of eye care after learning from one of the top pediatric optometrists in the nation.
